Origin story
Our founder, Rohan Doctor, spent 17 years as a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs, where he led the Bank Solutions business. In 2017, Rohan closed a record transaction that left the C-suite asking, “How did you do it?”
The answer was serendipity: a chance meeting at a water cooler in London led to a groundbreaking cross-border funding deal that no one thought possible. This success story prompted another question: “How can you do it again?”
Rohan’s response was: “What if we could systematize serendipity with data?”
And with that, Louisa (named after Louisa who connected Goldman and Sachs) was conceptualized and born.
